Jacque is highly regarded as a speaker, coach, educator, speech-language pathologist, consultant and multidisciplinary team coordinator. She frequently speaks on "Communication Breakdown: It May be Hazardous to your Health or to the Health of Your Professional Life", "Swallowing and Feeding Problems of the Medically Complex Child" and "Grief-An Ongoing Journey."

As a speech-language pathologist for more than 33 years, Jacque provides diagnostic, treatment, educational counseling and service coordination in medical, educational and clinical settings. She has first hand knowledge of the communication needs of healthcare consumers, physicians, healthcare professionals, parents and educators. Her empathetic, yet organized and pragmatic style has enabled her to successfully bring professionals together on behalf of medically complex pediatric and adult patients.

Jacque earned a bachelor's degree in 1974 from the State University of New York at Brockport and a master's degree from the State University of New York at Geneseo in 1975. She is a Certified Comprehensive Coach, a speech pathology specialty consultant to The Center For Health Dispute Resolution and an adjunct professor in the Communications Sciences and Disorders Department at Nazareth College in Rochester, NY, where she has taught collaboration, counseling and conferencing skills to graduate students for 20 years. She currently holds an ASHA Advanced Continuing E
ducation Award.

At the The Genesee Hospital Rochester, NY, Jacque founded and was administrator of the Department of Speech Pathology, Voice and Swallowing Center from 1991 -1999. Prior to that she participated in the creation and promotion of the Developmental Unit at the hospital with her mentor, Dr. Neal McNabb
